Instructor Training Program 1 (VSB)

Location: Langara College. Are you presently teaching, training, or planning to teach in an adult setting? A critical course for anyone who works with adults in an educational or training role. Refresh and/or learn those skills that will enhance your teaching/training experience. Topics include: adult learning models, start-up procedures, teaching techniques, curriculum planning & implementing, communicating through questions, evaluation & feedback, teaching resources & A/V aids and dealing with difficult situations. Completion of this program is an asset for existing and potential instructors. Those who complete both Instructor Training Program 1 and 2 are eligible to receive full credits towards the Provincial Instructors Diploma Program (PIDP) course 3220 - Delivery of Instruction. MUST attend all sessions. Manual supplied.
