Print & Prepress

Examine in theory and put into practice the processes, materials, and requirements of print technology and subsequent design considerations. Issues such as paper, ink, fonts, file formts, postscript, colour, and resolution, as well as practical and advanced techniques, are discussed and illustrated with real-life examples. Historical, traditional, and hand-printing methods will also be covered.

Prerequisites: All Level 1 courses.
