Vancouver, BC – On February 20th the Langara College Foundation hosted a 50s themed reception to celebrate the unveiling of the new donor recognition wall. The donor wall, located in the main foyer of A building, features photos documenting campus milestones and acknowledges the contribution of Langara supporters.
Over 40 guests were treated to a 1950s style cocktail reception, featuring Sidecars, Bikini Martinis, devilled eggs, and shrimp canapés, followed by a Studio 58 performance of the original Grease. Casts members were on hand at the reception to introduce the production.
“It was truly an honour for us to publicly and personally recognize the support Langara has received from so many wonderful individuals and companies,” said Sue Street, Executive Director, Langara College Foundation. “It is their vision that has built a reliable foundation of support for our students – both now and in the future.”
