Refer to the Registration Guide and Course Schedule on the Langara website for updates to this schedule or important information concerning registration and deadline dates for fee payment, refunds, course drops and adds, and withdrawals. Course Withdrawal Periods - Important Notice
October 2	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 30	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
November 20	Last day to withdraw from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.

Important Dates
June 15	Visit Langara's login page on or after June 15 to activate your registration date and time for Fall Semester 2021. Your registration time is pre-assigned and is not impacted by when you activate your registration time.
June 21	Fall Semester 2021 Registration Period 1 commences. Check the Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information. Limited enrolment and career student registration begins.
June 23	International student registration begins. Students in career and limited enrolment programs may register into courses that may have been unavailable to them during their scheduled registration time.
June 28	Arts and Science registration begins.
August 13	Bursary and scholarship applications available online (see Financial Aid).
August 20	FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Fall Semester 2021. Students must pay all fees before 2100 hours or they will be dropped from all of their registered courses at 2100 hours on August 25, 2021. See fee deadlines.
August 25	Students dropped from registered courses if there is an outstanding balance on their student account of $250.00 or more, if they do not meet prerequisite or high school graduation requirements, or if they have been placed on academic suspension. Check your account balance on Langara's login page.
August 26	Open Registration Period 2 begins. See Registration Access Schedule. Tuition fees for courses added during this period are due immediately following registration. Courses added during this period will not be dropped for non-payment of fees. Students remain liable for any fees owing. Any outstanding balances on or after September 15, 2021 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges (See Fees Information). Non-refundable fees must be paid, even if you have dropped your courses. Check your account balance on Langara's login page.
September 6	College closed. Labour Day. Last day to drop regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 7	First day of classes for regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
September 9	Last day to drop Sep–Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 10	Deadline to submit bursary applications.
September 13	Last day to add courses without department permission. Last day to drop regular semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 14	First day for withdrawals for regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.
September 15	Interest and late payment charges will begin to be applied to outstanding accounts. Visit Langara's login page to check your student account for any outstanding fees.
September 17	Deadline to submit scholarship applications.
September 30	College closed. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
October 2	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 7	Last day for special approval registration overrides for Fall Semester 2021. Any registration requests after this date must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca, by both the student and department chair.
October 11	College closed. Thanksgiving Day.
October 15	Last day of classes for Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 18 & 19	Final examinations for Sep–Oct half-semester courses. GPA and CGPA will be updated when final grades are available at the end of term.
October 20	Last day to drop Oct–Dec half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
October 21	First day of classes for Oct–Dec half-semester courses. Last day to add Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To add an Oct–Dec half-semester semester course, registration requests must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca (before 2100 hours), by both the student and department chair.
October 25	Last day to drop Oct–Dec half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
October 26	First day for withdrawals from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.

November 20	Last day to withdraw from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
December 2	Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Oct–Dec half-semester courses.
December 4–16	Final examinations for regular semester courses and Oct–Dec half-semester courses. GPA and CGPA will be updated when final grades are available at the end of term.
December 22	Fall Semester 2021 final grades available online. Semester GPA and CGPA updated.
December 23–31	College closed. Winter Break.

SPRING SEMESTER 2022 (202210) JANUARY–APRIL

January 6	First day of classes for regular semester and Jan–Feb half-semester courses.
January 10	Last day to drop Jan–Feb half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
January 12	Last day to add courses without department permission. Last day to drop regular semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
January 13	First day for withdrawals for regular semester and Jan–Feb half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.

February 21–25	Spring Break.
February 27	Last day to drop Feb–Apr half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from your Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
February 28	First day of classes for Feb–Apr half-semester courses. Last day to add Feb–Apr half-semester courses. To add a Feb–Apr half-semester course, a request must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca (before 2100 hours), by both the student and department chair.
March 2	Last day to drop Feb–Apr half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from your Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
March 3	First day for withdrawals from Feb–Apr half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.
March 12	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
March 15	Last day to submit a late application for graduation in June. Graduation applications received after March 15, 2022 may not be processed in time for June convocation.
March 26	Last day to withdraw from Feb–Apr half-semester courses. To withdraw from a Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
March 28	Summer Semester 2022 Registration commences. Check Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information.
April 7	Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Feb–Apr half-semester courses.
April 8–23	Final examinations for regular semester courses and Feb–Apr half-semester courses.
April 15	College closed. Good Friday.
April 18	College closed. Easter Monday.
April 28	Spring Semester 2022 final grades available online.
April 30	Last day of the Spring Semester 2022.
