The UBC Sauder School of Business has a Broad-Based Admission Policy for all students applying to all years of the Bachelor of Commerce Program. Admissions decisions are based on a combination of a student’s academic performance and an assessment of their Personal Profile.
Applicants must meet a minimum overall average of 65% (2.50 on a 4 pt. scale) calculated on the last 30 transferrable credits of coursework and a minimum core average of 65% (2.50 on a 4 pt. scale). For year 2 applicants, the core average is calculated on all Economics, English, Commerce and the required Math courses. For year 3 applicants, the core average is calculated on all transferable Commerce courses. All attempts at core courses are used in the calculation of your core average.
NOTE, the courses listed below are admission requirements, and do not satisfy the first and second year credit requirements on their own. Please review the program's curriculum to plan your additional coursework accordingly.
