Anthony & Yumy Ng Foundation AwardAwarded to a student who is a newcomer to Canada, having resided here for less than five years. Applicants will be first year students enrolled in any of the following programs: Diploma in Accounting, Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting or the Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Preferences will be given to studdents aged 25 or younger.Required Documents
Leelah Dawson Award for Excellence and LeadershipAwarded to an academically strong bachelor’s degree student in their 3rd or 4th year of study. Applicants must demonstrate that they have enriched the Langara community through their contributions, by going beyond the ordinary to show their community spirit and enhance the lives of others. LSU University-Transfer Program Student AwardAwarded to a student studying in a university transfer program. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding leadership or service through volunteerism with LSU or Langara College. Available to domestic or international Langara College students who are currently registered in a minimum of nine credits and who were registered in a minimum of nine credits in one of the past two semesters.Required Documents
LSU Volunteer Leadership AwardAwarded to domestic or international Langara College students who are current members of LSU. Student must demonstrate outstanding student leadership or service through volunteerism with LSU or Langara College.Required Documents
ONNI Gives AwardAwarded to an Indigenous student who is currently registered full-time or part-time in either regular studies or continuing studies. Preference given to applicants who demonstrate an interest in studying or pursuing a career in development, construction, architecture, urban design and planning, or any other studies that contribute to city or community building.Required Documents
Tony & Marissa Pena Entrance AwardAwarded to a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd term domestic student who can demonstrate academic excellence, outstanding community service, and has financial need. Preference given to students who have contributed to the Filipino community in BC or Canada. Applicants in their 2nd or 3rd term must have a minimum CGPA 2.8.Required Documents
Y.P. Heung Foundation Post-Secondary AwardsAwarded to domestic students who are enrolled in either their first or second year in the two-year Associate of Arts Degree program or the two-year Associate of Science Degree program. Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Please note that students are only eligible for the scholarship once per calendar (January – December) year but can receive the award more than once.Required Documents
