Construction Notice | 49th Avenue Closure Extended

The City has extended the current road closure until September 5, inclusive, for safety reasons.  

What’s happening:

• 49^th Ave between Cambie and Main streets and 48^th Ave between Quebec and Manitoba streets is local traffic only (local traffic includes traffic to Langara)  
• Buses are detouring to 48^th Avenue between Quebec Street and Manitoba Street and bus stops in front of Langara have been temporarily relocated one block west (Columbia Street), in front of T Building.  
• Pedestrian and cycling detours and ‘no parking’ zones will be in effect with detour signage in place.
• Access to Langara will be maintained at all times.
