Student Research

In the final term of the Bachelor of Recreation Management Program, students are required to take the Capstone Course - RECR 4400: Applied Major Project. This 6 credit course provides students the opportunity to apply cumulative knowledge acquired throughout the program in a hands-on, self-directed project that contributes in a meaningful way to the recreation field. Students create a research question and partner with a recreation organization of their choosing to explore and answer the question through a scholarly research process. This capstone project provides students with a deep learning and research experience that adds value to their resumes and their communities. See below for the student research reports:
