Student Work Programs
Applications for Spring Semester 2025 are now open.
Due to the upcoming holiday closure, students can expect to hear back from Financial Aid in January, on the status of their application. All applications will be reviewed in order of date of receipt.
Students should wait to hear from Financial Aid on the status of their application before beginning work. Approved students are eligible to work up to a maximum of 100 hours per term.
Job opportunities are limited and not all approved applicants may find work in the current term.

How to Find Work
A successful SWAP or WOC application does not confirm a job will be available. Once you've received your email notification that you have been approved for work, there are a few ways you can find work opportunities at Langara:
- Log onto the C3 Job Board and search for jobs.
- Visit on-campus departments in the first couple of weeks of the semester or email them directly, but be aware that not all departments hire students.
- Departments may reach out to you if a position becomes available and your skills/experience align with what they're looking for.
