Fee Payment Options:

Tuition and related fees for International Students can be paid in the following ways:

1. Flywire – International Payments: Fees can be paid in foreign currency by wire transfer to Langara College.  In select markets, other payment options are available.

2. Western Union Global Pay:  Fees can be paid as a wire transfer to Langara College. In select markets, other payment options are available.

3. Online Banking: Through your financial institution’s website or smartphone banking app, select Langara College as a payee through the Bill Payment screen and use your nine digit Langara Identification number as your account number. For your convenience, we have included links for direct access.

If you do not see your financial institution listed above, please contact them directly to see if Langara College is available for online bill payments.

4. Interac Online (Visa debit is not supported): You can do this by visiting Langara's login page:

  • Click on Registration
  • Account Balance and Payments
  • Select the appropriate semester
  • Enter the Payment Amount
  • Enter the Form of Payment (INTERAC®, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover Card)
  • Select Submit Payment
  • Follow prompts

5. In person at the Student Accounts Office (B207): Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The drop box can be used for all cheque payments after hours. We accept:

  • Debit
  • VISA, MasterCard, or Discover Card
  • Cheque (ensure the cheque is made payable to Langara College and includes your Langara Student ID Number)

Students registering for their first semester must pay a minimum of $6000.00 CAD in advance of registration, but will only be charged for the courses in which they register. The $6000.00 CAD includes a $1500.00 CAD non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. If tuition and ancillary fees are greater than $6000.00 CAD, payment of the total outstanding amount is due by the published fee payment deadline or you will be dropped from all courses you have registered into. Students in their 2nd or subsequent semesters must pay a $1500.00 CAD non-refundable and non-transferable deposit in advance of registration.

NOTE: Most courses have 3 credits. Tuition for one course with 3 credits is $1876.20 (effective September 1, 2020)

NOTE: Tuition fees per credit are applied to courses taken on a credit or non-credit (audit) basis. Some programs have a maximum tuition fee limit equal to 18 credits per semester.

All fees must be paid to Langara College by the fee payment deadline or you will be dropped from all courses. See  Payment Deadlines.

*Langara Students' Union Fees were amended by the LSU for Spring 2018 and subsequent semesters. 

‡ The Capital Building Legacy Fund was created to address Langara College's ongoing requirement for facilities that support and enhance the provision of educational services for learners. This Fund supports capital projects designed to directly enhance the quality of the learning experience for Langara College students, and all monies are held in a separate fund with College Board approval required for expenditure.

†† The Langara Students' Union General Members voted in a November 2020 Referendum to extend automatic coverage under the LSU Health and Dental Plan to both Regular Studies full-time and part-time students (those enrolled in one or more credits), as well as all eligible students beginning their studies at Langara in a spring semester.

  • The expanded eligibility to include part-time students took effect in fall 2021. The charge for the full year (charged to students who register in the fall) is $256.62. All Regular Studies students registered in one or more credits in the fall semester and all Continuing Studies students who are studying full-time in the fall semester who are members of the LSU are automatically covered by the LSU Health and Dental Plan and charged for the coverage.
  • The expanded eligibility to automatically cover students beginning their studies in a spring semester, will take effect in spring 2023. All Regular Studies students registered in one or more credits in the spring semester and all Continuing Studies students who are studying full-time in the spring semester who are members of the LSU will be automatically covered by the LSU Health and Dental Plan and charged for the coverage. The prorated partial-year charge (covering January to August) is $162.93. This only applies to students who did not meet the requirements for coverage in the fall semester.
  • Students beginning their studies in spring 2022 will not be automatically enrolled but can self-enroll during the Change-of-Coverage period only by visiting http://studentcare.ca. Students beginning their studies in spring 2022 who self-enroll will be charged a prorated amount of $162.93 for coverage from January 1–August 31.
  • If you opt out, you will be reimbursed the full Plan fee by cheque. Be sure to opt out early.

Registration on a Non-Credit (Audit) Basis - Regular Studies

Students wishing to audit a course must submit their request in writing to registration@langara.ca (Attn: Supervisor, Records & Registration) indicating the course name(s), section, and student information prior to the first day of classes. Audit registration is not guaranteed as it is only applicable to courses in which there are seats available, after the registration period has ended. For this reason, students must not register themselves into the course directly. Registration will be handled by Registrar and Enrolment Services. Cancellation of request must be received prior to registration.

Students must be admitted to the College prior to requesting an audit; please review the admission information here. Please ensure that you meet the prerequisite and program requirement for registration prior to submitting your request.

Once registered, the College will not permit students to change from a non-credit to a credit basis or from a credit to a non-credit basis for any reason. The course name and number will be noted on a student’s record with the symbol (*) indicating the course was taken on a non-credit, ungraded basis. Tuition and fees for non-credit registration are the same as for-credit registration.
