Course Withdrawal Periods - Important Notice
October 1	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 29	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
November 19	Last day to withdraw from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.

Important Dates
June 16	Log into the Student Information System on or after June 16 to activate your registration date and time. Your registration time is pre-assigned and is not impacted by when you activate your registration time.
June 20	Fall Semester 2022 Registration Period 1 commences. Check the Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information. Limited enrolment registration begins.
June 22	International student registration begins. Students in career and limited enrolment programs may register into courses that may have been unavailable to them during their scheduled registration time.
June 27	Arts and Science registration begins.
August 12	Fall semester bursary and scholarship applications available online (see Financial Aid).
August 19	FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Fall Semester 2022 . Students must pay all fees before 2100 hours or they will be dropped from all of their registered courses at 2100 hours on August 24, 2022.
August 24	Students dropped from registered fall semester courses if there is an outstanding balance on their student account of $260.00 or more, if they do not meet prerequisite or high school graduation requirements, or if they have been placed on academic suspension. Check your account balance by logging into the Student Information System.
August 25	Fall Semester 2022 Registration Period 2 begins. See Registration Access Schedule. Tuition fees for courses added during this period are due immediately following registration. Courses added during this period will not be dropped for non-payment of fees. Students remain liable for any fees owing. Any outstanding balances on or after September 14, 2022 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges (see Fees Information). Non-refundable fees must be paid, even if you have dropped your courses. Check your account balance by logging into the Student Information System.
September 5	College closed. Labour Day. Last day to drop regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 6	First day of classes for regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
September 8	Last day to drop Sep–Oct half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 12	Last day to add courses without department permission. Last day to drop regular semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
September 13	First day for withdrawals for regular semester and Sep–Oct half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.
September 14	Interest and late payment charges will begin to be applied to outstanding accounts. Log into the Student Information System to check your student account for any outstanding fees.
September 16	Deadline to submit fall semester bursary applications.
September 19 *New*	College closed. National Day of Mourning.
September 23	Deadline to submit fall semester scholarship applications.
September 30	College closed. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
October 1	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 7	Last day for special approval registration overrides for Fall Semester 2022. Any registration requests after this date must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca, by both the student and department chair.
October 10	College closed. Thanksgiving Day.
October 18 *Revised*	Last day of classes for Sep–Oct half-semester courses.
October 19 & 20 *Revised*	Final exams for Sep–Oct half-semester courses. GPA and CGPA will be updated when final grades are available at the end of term.
October 23 *Revised*	Last day to drop Oct–Dec half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
October 24 *Revised*	First day of classes for Oct–Dec half-semester courses. Last day to add Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To add an Oct–Dec half-semester semester course, registration requests must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca (before 2100 hours), by both the student and department chair.
October 26 *Revised*	Last day to drop Oct–Dec half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.

November 19	Last day to withdraw from Oct–Dec half-semester courses. To withdraw from an Oct–Dec half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
November 30	Last day to apply for graduation in December.
December 2	Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Oct–Dec half-semester courses.
December 5–16	Final exams for regular semester courses and Oct–Dec half-semester courses. GPA and CGPA will be updated when final grades are available at the end of term.
December 22	Fall Semester 2022 final grades available online. Semester GPA and CGPA updated.
December 23–31	College closed. Winter Break.
December 31	Last day of Fall Semester 2022.

SPRING SEMESTER 2023 (202310) JANUARY–APRIL

Course Withdrawal Periods - Important Notice
February 4	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from Jan–Feb half-semester courses.
March 4	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
March 25	Last day to withdraw from Feb–Apr half-semester courses. To withdraw from a Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.

December 15	Spring semester bursary and scholarship applications available online (see Financial Aid). Last day (before 2100 hours) for international students to defer their admission without losing the $1500.00 commitment fee. To defer your admission, you must submit a deferral request form prior to 2100 hours.
December 16	FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE for Spring Semester 2023. Students must pay all fees before 2100 hours or they will be dropped from all of their registered courses at 2100 hours on December 21, 2022.
December 21	Students with an outstanding balance of $260 or more, students who do not meet prerequisite requirements, or students placed on academic suspension will be dropped from all their registered courses. Check your account balance by logging into the Student Information System.
December 22	Spring Semester 2023 Registration Period 2 begins. See Registration Access Schedule. Tuition fees for courses added during this period are due immediately following registration. January 3	Last day to drop regular semester and Jan–Feb half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 100% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
January 4	First day of classes for regular semester and Jan–Feb half-semester courses.
January 6	Last day to drop Jan–Feb half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).
January 10	Last day to add courses without department permission. Last day to drop regular semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees).

February 27	First day of classes for Feb–Apr half-semester courses. Last day to add Feb–Apr half-semester courses. To add a Feb–Apr half-semester course, a request must be submitted in writing to registration@langara.ca (before 2100 hours), by both the student and department chair.
March 1	Last day to drop Feb–Apr half-semester courses (before 2100 hours) for a 70% tuition fee refund (less any non-refundable, non-transferable fees). To drop from your Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
March 2	First day for withdrawals from Feb–Apr half-semester courses. Students who do not want to continue in a course must withdraw from the course and will not receive a refund. A "W" will appear beside the course on their transcript.
March 4	Last day (before 2100 hours) to withdraw from regular semester courses.
March 15	Last day to submit a late application for graduation in June. Graduation applications received after March 15, 2023 may not be processed in time for June convocation.
March 25	Last day to withdraw from Feb–Apr half-semester courses. To withdraw from a Feb–Apr half-semester course, you must email registration@langara.ca prior to 2100 hours.
March 27	Summer Semester 2023 Registration commences. Check Registration Guide and Course Schedule for more information.
April 6	Last day of classes for regular semester courses and Feb–Apr half-semester courses.
April 7	College closed. Good Friday.
April 10	College closed. Easter Monday.
April 11–22	Final exams for regular semester courses and Feb–Apr half-semester courses.
April 27	Spring Semester 2023 final grades available online.
April 30	Last day of the Spring Semester 2023.
