There are no official prerequisites for any of the courses, however, you are expected to have professional English reading and writing skills and basic computer know-how, including facility with email, MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet in general.
You'll need to be able to access the internet, complete course readings and assignments online, and participate in one live webinar through Zoom. To do this, you'll need:
- A computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stand
- An internet connection
- A webcam, microphone, and speakers (most computers, laptops, microphones and smartphones have these built in)
Couse content will be delivered online via Brightspace. You can refer to tutorials and instructions on how to use Brightspace at: https://iweb.langara.ca/lts/brightspace/how-to-use-brightspace/
Some basic computer skills such as email, MS Word, and MS Excel will be needed.
This program is intended for anyone who is interested in developing and honing their sales skills. Whether you are new to the field of sales, or already have extensive sales experience, this in-depth, practical and engaging program will introduce you to exciting new ways to achieve sales success and help you achieve your full potential as a salesperson.

Each course fee is $386. The total fee for the certificate is $1544.
Although you may take the four courses in any order, it is recommended to take the courses in the following order for the best experience:
- Successful Selling Strategies
- Persuasion, Communication & Relationship Building
- Motivation, Closing & Keeping Clients
- Sales & Planning Toolkit
No, you don’t need to have any professioncal sales experience to take this program.
Once you have completed all content and passed all four courses within the program, you may apply for your Professional Sales Short Certificate. Please submit your Certificate/Graduation application, along with a $10 processing fee.
Students who began the program prior to September 2022 will have until August 2023 to receive the certificate credential. Students who began the program September 2022 onwards will receive the short certificate credential.
