NCAS Simulation Lab Assessment & Oral Assessment

Nursing Community Assessment Service

The Nursing Community Assessment Service (NCAS) is designed to assess the extent to which applicants demonstrate the skills and competencies required to enter practice in the desired health practitioner role. The simulations allow applicants to demonstrate the ability to conduct patient assessments, perform nursing interventions, communicate effectively with patients, and make clinical decisions in a supportive environment. Langara College is the host site for all NCAS assessments.

Please note that as of March 1, 2019, all assessment registration is conducted by NCAS and not Langara College. Please visit the NCAS website to register and for information about the assessment.
