Campus Parking Notice – Saturday, April 12
The annual Vaisakhi celebration will be taking place on Saturday, April 12. The College is offering free parking for the community on this day.
If you are travelling to campus for exams on April 12, please be advised that the parking lots will be busier than usual.
Students and employees are encouraged to take public transportation if they need to access campus on this day.
For those who do need to drive to campus, please be advised of the following:
- Employees and students (including Mandarin School) will have access to reserved parking spaces in the parkade (P1, P2, and P3).
- Employees may park in the Employee Preferred Lot next to A Building at the northeast corner of campus – no registration required.
- Mandarin School students will have a designated drop off zone in the Employee Preferred Lot.
- Security will assist with directing traffic within the lots.
- Drivers will be asked by Security to identify whether they are employees, or students, or members of the public. Drivers will be directed towards the appropriate areas to park. Security may ask for Langara ID or confirmation of exam (time, classroom number, or instructor name) to verify their Langara identity. Please come prepared to ensure timely parking.
- Students and employees may park in unreserved spots, if available.
- The above points will be communicated to the festival organizers as well.
