Vancouver, BC – Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is adding more on-campus vaccination clinics across the region, including Langara College, making it easier for students, faculty, staff and members of the public to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

All eligible individuals are invited to attend the on-campus or nearby neighbourhood clinics to receive their first or second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccinations are free of charge and available to anyone 12 years of age and older, including people who don’t have a personal health number or people who are not residents of B.C.

To be eligible for a second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, it needs to be at least 28 days since your first dose. Please bring your COVID-19 Immunization Record Card if you have it.

As part of the new provincial vaccine requirement, accessing some non-essential services on campus will now require a proof of vaccination. This will apply to on-campus indoor venues, including but not limited to gyms, nightclubs, restaurants and a variety of indoor events, such as sporting events and concerts. Students who are living in on-campus housing will also require proof of vaccination.

Clinic dates, times, and locations can be found at vch.ca/vaccine. Please check the website regularly as clinic times and locations are updated regularly.
