Vancouver, BC - We are lowering our flag on campus today to honour and pay respects to the 215 children whose remains were discovered on the grounds of Kamloops Residential School in Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation Territory. Our hearts are with all the families and communities affected by this horrific finding.
For those in our own community who are seeking support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Counselling Services or Indigenous Education & Services at indigenous@langara.ca. Employees continue to have confidential access to EFAP services and resources, 24/7.
Our flag will be lowered until further notice.
