Vancouver - Shortly after 10 am this morning Langara's 49th avenue campus lost power due to trees that had fallen on a nearby power line. The campus is closed for today but will re-open for business as usual tomorrow.
BC Hydro was able to restore power this afternoon, however the outage had temporarily impacted some of our IT systems. All systems are now back up and running, including registration. Waitlist offers will continue to be suspended until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the closure of campus or from the systems being offline for part of the day. Students with any questions about their registration, are welcome to calll the Registration Helpline at 604-323-5595.
