Vancouver, BC – Thirty Korean students from Seoil University arrived on the Langara College campus on July 9 to participate in a three-week long Summer English Language Program organized by Langara's International Education Department. The students are on campus from July 9-29, and will enjoy fieldtrips and activities including kayaking, fishing, visiting the Museum of Anthropology, and a day trip to Victoria.
Seoil University, located in Seoul, South Korea, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Langara with the goal of establishing scholarly ties, facilitating academic cooperation, and promoting mutual understanding.

“We look forward to developing this sister relationship with Langara, to provide opportunities for our students to improve their English skills, learn about culture in Canada, and to help broaden their minds internationally,” said Professor Kim, Kil-Soo, Head of the English Department and International Programs Director at Seoil University.

that will further the goal of internationalization at both institutions. We are

who have come to study in our three week Summer English Language and Culture
Program.”
