Langara College's BioBlitz aims to engage students in citizen science, hands-on ecological learning, foster appreciation for biodiversity, inspire conservation action, and strengthen community partnerships for environmental stewardship.

As the first BioBlitz, Langara College will create a baseline of biodiversity for its main campus. This event will inform future monitoring and management practices through creating a baseline of biodiversity and improve knowledge involving various ecosystem services.

Step One: Volunteer
Become a citizen scientist, participate in a meaningful project that increases knowledge of campus biodiversity and meet other interested students. Complete the sign-up form and you will receive information via email.

Step Two: download iNaturalist
You will receive an email providing a link to the iNaturalist website or download the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store

Step Three: Attend the BioBlitz
