On the afternoon of February 25, Langara is co-hosting a Fair Dealing Week event at BCIT Vancouver in partnership with other B.C. post-secondaries. The event will explore the impact of copyright and fair dealing on artists working in a variety of disciplines. 

The event will feature a keynote presentation by Brianne Selman (Scholarly Communications Librarian, University of Winnipeg; co-investigator on the SSHRC-funded Cultural Capital Project), followed by a panel discussion with local Vancouver artists – including Langara’s own Josue Menjivar.

This event is free but registration is required – please register by February 18.
