In response to feedback about the need for additional study spaces to support learning, we are opening new areas in the Library Building for student use. Rooms L108, L109 and the silent study room (L226) will be open effective Monday, October 5 during regular hours of operation.
Note: The Library remains closed; therefore, to access the silent study room, please go through the second-floor concourse (adjacent to L224) of the Library building.
As we have previously asked, we ask that you try to stay home as much as possible and only access these spaces as needed. If you do need to access the campus or these study spaces, please review and follow our Coming to Campus procedures.
Once on campus, you will be required to check in with one of our Health & Safety Heroes for sign-in, and to confirm you have completed the COVID-19 Safety Awareness course and daily self-assessment. Please remember to keep physical distance from others and wash hands frequently. These spaces will be cleaned regularly, but health & safety is everyone’s responsibility.
For a current list of on-campus student services, see Services and Hours on our COVID-19 site.
As always, your feedback and questions can be sent to us at covidquestions@langara.ca. Our latest updates for students can be found on langara.ca/covid.
