Mar 18, 2020

We hope your first day of online learning is going well, and that this has been a relatively smooth transition for you. Here are some additional updates for today:

April Exams and Students Who Need to Leave the Lower Mainland

We understand that many students not from the Lower Mainland wish to return home, or have been asked by their country’s governments to return home.  While plans are still being finalized for April exams, accommodations will be made for students to complete their assessments remotely where required. Please inform your instructor(s) if you will be leaving Vancouver.

Summer Term Course Registration

Course registration for the Summer Term will not open as scheduled on Monday, March 23 for our Regular Studies and Continuing Studies programming. New registration dates will be announced once they are available.

Diagnostic Tests and Langara English Test (LET)
Future MDT and Physics Diagnostic Tests, are under review. LET is cancelled until further notice. More information can be found on the English Department website here.

What's open on campus?

The College is open, but some services have moved online. See the Latest Updates section of the Langara COVID site for the most current information.

Limits on Group Gatherings

Please note that due to the Ministry of Health order that limits gatherings to no more than 50 people, should a group that large be in any one space on campus, Campus Security staff will be asking people to move to another area.
