Office Computers 

All offices will have at least one computer for employee use.

  • All computers will come with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Email Client and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Employees can request other specialized software based on their needs.
  • Computers will be replaced every 4 years.

Most computers will have Windows; only specialized departments will be provided with Mac workstations.  

Exceptions

  • Dual Monitor setups will be considered based on the needs of the individual (requests need to be made by Department heads)

Laptops

IT will provide laptops to individuals who require mobile computers. Requests must originate from department heads.

  • IT will consider, on a case-by-case basis, department and administrator requests for laptops
  • All computers will come with commonly used software such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Employees can request other specialized software based on their needs.
  • Laptops will be replaced every 4 years.

Mac laptops requests are considered with respect to department needs.
