Application Process

Langara College has improved the application process for Continuing Studies programs. Visit this page for more details and FAQ

Application Submission Process

Submit a Continuing Studies Online Application:

  • Pay your application fee by Visa or MasterCard during the online application process
  • Upload all relevant supporting documents during the online application process. Supporting documents can also be submitted later in the Continuing Studies Applicant Portal. Access to the portal will be granted by email after your application is received.

Incomplete applications packages will not be reviewed. Applications will be reviewed after all supporting documents are received and documents need to be in before the application deadline.

Required documents (more details on Academic Requirements tab):

  • Official highschool, college, or university transcript
  • Demonstration of English-language proficiency (if using your highschool transcript it must be sent to Langara directly using the Student Transcript Service)
  • Introduction to Massage proof of completion
  • Langara RMT Admission Questions
  • Professional Reference Letter

All scanned documents must be PDF format, in colour, show the entire page, and include both sides (front and back, even if blank) of all pages. Original documents may be requested at any time. Students who fail to provide official documents as requested may have their application canceled, and/or be blocked from further registration.

Competitive Entry Process

Langara highly encourages students to submit their application as soon as possible. All application packages must be complete, and are ranked. We highly recommend potential students first complete 2-3 college/university level anatomy & physiology courses. They prepare students for the RMT Program, and also increase the ranking of  your application. Higher-ranking applications are accepted first, until places are filled.

Submitting an application before the deadline does not guarantee space. Late submissions will be assessed for the next intake

Acceptance to the CS Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy is not guaranteed. RMT Program application packages are processed and assessed as they are submitted. Application packages must be complete, including the 2-day Intro to Massage course. Higher-ranking applications are accepted first, until places are filled. Submit your application early.
