Sewing: Pattern Fitting & Manipulation (VSB)

Discontinued as of Summer Semester 2025.Location: John Oliver Secondary. Are you unhappy with store bought patterns but don't want to draft your own? Achieve the look you want by learning how to make alterations and simple changes to commercial patterns you may already own. In this demonstration course, find out what you can change and learn how to add some of your favourite details for ready-to-wear. Collars, cuffs, yokes, necklines, closings, lengths, and finishing techniques are some of the things that are easily manipulated. Some basic sewing experience required.
