Career Opportunities
PCCN is not a career program; however, this degree will enhance your job opportunities in many different fields. As an interdisciplinary program, PCCN offers maximum flexibility to students. The program includes many courses offered in a wide variety of academic departments and programs, from Social Science and Humanities to Environmental Studies.
Graduates from the Associate of Arts degree go on to study at our sister post-secondary institutions in the Lower Mainland. Our students are able to enroll into 3rd year of the Peace and Conflict Studies Bachelor’s degree program at University of the Fraser Valley. Students have also transferred to the departments of History, Political Science, International Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, and Gender Studies.
Our graduates work in the public service, in the humanitarian sphere, in development organizations (IGOs and NGOs), in education, law enforcement, and social work.
