In sculpture, students learn how to express themselves in three and four dimensions, using both traditional and contemporary principles. They gain hands-on experience casting metal, carving stone, and working with wood, plastics, plaster, electronics and found objects, as well as materials of their own choosing. Proper operation of a wide variety of shop equipment and machinery is taught to students at all skill levels.
