Course Description
Formerly BUSM 4804
During a term of full-time employment (minimum 300 hours over a 16 week term,) students will have the opportunity for practical application of theoretical knowledge gained in academic studies to enhance their skills and to provide professional and personal development. Evaluation will consist of employer feedback, workplace reflection and final work term report. Students are responsible for finding a suitable work experience with the assistance of the Langara Co-op and Career Development Centre. Graded S/U.
Students will receive credit for only one of BUSM 4804 or EXPE 4814.
Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Post-Degree Diplomas in Business Administration and Marketing Management.
Prerequisite(s): Completion of a minimum of 30 credits including: A minimum "C" grade in EXPE 4800; OR a mimimum "C" all of EXPE 4801, 4802, and 4803.
