I was fortunate enough to be part of a cohort that donated our first-year textbooks, making my first semester in nursing school much less stressful. By concentrating on my studies, I have maintained a high GPA and have now been able to apply to the Vancouver Coastal Health ESN program, where I will begin working on the Burns, Trauma, High Acuity unit at Vancouver General Hospital this April.
