Capture your future

The Photographer In Residence

The Photographer in Residence program aims to bring a professional photographer to Langara College for a designated period, during which they will engage with the campus community, capture the essence of Langara life, and create a body of work that reflects our values and spirit. The project is portfolio based, with a focus on social advocacy or social cause deeply rooted in the project. The Photographer in Residence program is a community building project.

The program will offer numerous benefits, including:

Mentorship: The Photographer in Residence will mentor students interested in photography, providing guidance, feedback, and inspiration to help them develop their skills and pursue their passion.

Community Engagement: Through workshops, exhibitions, and other events, the Photographer in Residence will engage with the Langara community and contribute to our vibrant campus culture.
