Our sustainable campus
Over the last few decades, the College has implemented more sustainable initiatives to help lessen our carbon footprint. The College is a proud member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
Since 2009, we have reduced our carbon emissions per square foot by 45%. All new buildings on campus are built to LEED Gold certification standards. Our green buildings feature enhanced air quality, better lighting with daylight exposure, improved thermal comfort, improved energy efficiency, geothermal heating and cooling, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and solar shading. We also have four beautiful gardens, recycling stations, and solar panels around the campus.
But the work is only just beginning. Many of our students are eagerly waiting for more opportunities to help continue making the campus more sustainable.
Contribute to students’ ambition for a greener future by donating to student-run initiatives, career workshops and events, and campus sustainability projects.
