Stefan is the Director of Development and Asset Management at New Chelsea Society, the third largest Social Housing Provider operating 1432 units in the Lower Mainland. He is managing 20 properties with an estimated insured value of $ 300 million and about 3,500 residents. In addition, he is in charge for new housing projects and organizational development within New Chelsea. Stefan is with this organization since 2012, and has worked as a Program Manager in a Supportive Housing project in the DTES with Coast Mental Health. Stefan immigrated to Vancouver 10 years ago from Berlin, Germany, where he worked as a Director of an addiction and recovery facility for over 10 years.
Stefan has a Bachelor Degree in Social Work (BSW), a Diploma in Economics, and has accomplished the Experienced Professional Route Program with the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) leading to his Chartered Membership (CIHCM). Stefan has obtained his Property Management and Social Housing Certificate from Langara College, and is currently studying for his Construction and Development Certificate.
Kelvin Coley-Donohue has been with Campbell & Pound Ltd. since December 1997.Clients include: major Canadian financial institutions; brokers; developers; lawyers; accountants; various governmental institutions; housing co-operatives; property managers, and private individuals. Mr. Coley-Donohue was awarded designated membership and use of the professional designation AACI, P.App, December 2, 2003, by the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He was granted the use of the RI (BC) designation, from the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia in April 2004 and granted use of CRP Designation by the Real Estate Institute of Canada – April 2012. Kelvin instructs Real Estate Appraisal in the May to August term.
Nizam is associate broker of Assertive Northwest Property Management Group Inc. His previous work experience includes project management for developers, managing broker for a strata brokerage, and as a strata management representative for over 17 years. He holds the Certified Professional Residential Property Manager Designation from the Professional Association of Managing Agents. Nizam instructs the Property Management - Commercial course.
Leslie has been in the property management industry for over 17 years. First serving as a council member in a Strata Corporation that was periodically self-managed. Before becoming a licensed strata manager, Leslie had several businesses, provided book keeping services and provided insurance replacement services to the insurance industry. This allowed her insight into the accounting and insurance aspects of Strata. Since becoming licensed, Leslie has specialized in new construction projects, sections and larger, high rental strata corporations. Over the past few years, she has averaged 1400 units in her portfolio. She has also been involved in training and creating training programs including in her current employment. She serves as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for PAMA and on the education committee for PAMA. Leslie instructs the Advanced Strata Management course; Commercial Property Management course (May to August term); and alternately Property Management Residential.
David is the Assistant Fire Chief of Prevention for the North Vancouver City Fire Department. He is a Registered Building Official previously working as a building inspector with the City and has 25 years of experience in the construction industry. Dennis has been teaching real estate finance and appraisal to aspiring Realtors® for over 15 years. Dennis has held senior management positions with some of Canada’s largest banks. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from UBC. Dennis is a member of the Real Estate Institute of BC, and knows what it takes to succeed in the real estate industry. Dennis instructs the Real Estate Mathematics, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Investment Analysis, and the Real Estate Math Tutorial course. He also provides tutorial courses for students in any UBC DULE program courses.
Ian has over 30 years real estate experience predominately in the industrial, commercial, and investment sector. Ian is a professional appraiser (AAIC, P. App) working with the City of North Vancouver as the Property Evaluator Negotiator II engaged in valuations and negotiations on behalf of the City. Ian teaches Real Estate Appraisal.
