DAY 1
We arrive in Las Vegas and get together for a meet and greet dinner at our hotel.
DAY 2
After breakfast we pack up and proceed south east towards The Grand Canyon in our private mini-coach with driver.
There will be a photo stop along the way providing us an opportunity on the old route 66 to shoot some very cool vintage vehicles at a 30’s garage/general store etc. After lunch we will drive off to the Grand Canyon and arrive and check into our hotel .
At this point, time pending we will go over some photographic techniques which will be commonly employed during our road trip. We will then position ourselves in key early evening/sunset vantage points on the south rim for some beautiful photographs of this world class Canyon. We will spend the night at the Grand Canyon.
DAY 3
We will be up by sunrise and in position for some more amazing photos along the south rim of the Grand Canyon. We can take advantage of a few different lookouts that provide unique views of this magnificent wonder in the early morning light.  We will then have breakfast after our early morning shoot is finished. These breakfasts at approx. 9:30 am will be typical with many of the early mornings where we are up and shooting at sunrise. After breakfast we will be back on the road and heading towards Canyon de Chelly National Monument with a stop break near Tuba City to have a look at dinosaur footprints. Once at Canyon de Chelly we will check into our hotel after which we will walk or drive (round trip) into the canyon to photograph the famous Whitehouse, a stunning 1000 year old Anasazi cliff dwelling. Free time around dinner then at sunset we will drive along the South Rim of the canyon for some sunset shots including the famous Spider Rock.
DAY 4
We are up early again to re photograph Spider Rock and another point with completely different sunrise light. After breakfast we are off to the Iconic Monument Valley. Here we will tour the valley and take a unique mid/late day tour into the Valley with local natives. Around dinner we will shoot one of America’s most famous panoramas, the Mittens. The light here can be stunning at sunset, skies are amazing no matter what the weather is doing.
DAY 5
The next morning we will take a guided sunrise tour designed for photography. After breakfast have a few hours off for some review time and to relax at the hotel. A mid/late afternoon drive in the valley circle and then back for another sunset vista from a new location in Monument Valley.
DAY 6
Still in Monument Valley we will we will shoot at sunrise again from another vantage point and after breakfast we will be driving to Page Arizona to the world’s most unique and photographic slot canyons, Upper & Lower Antelope Canyon for the entire afternoon.
After dinner we will drive a short distance to photograph the famous Horseshoe Bend, a 1000 feet high lookout above the Colorado River five minutes from Page.
DAY 7
In the morning again depart from Page to photograph Horseshoe Bend in the early light (very short drive). After which we will go back and take an additional tour of another area of the slot canyons near Page. We will leave page in the early afternoon and drive to Bryce Canyon. Arriving at Bryce Canyon National Park in the early evening we will proceed to the rim of the park to take some amazing photographs of the stunning pinnacles before sunset.
DAY 8
We will be up at sunrise taking some more beautiful photographs of these unique pinnacles in the morning light from a few different vantage points along the rim of the park. During the late morning we will take a walking tour into the pinnacles, the sky here is an amazingly dark blue because you are at 8600 feet in altitude.  We will have the late afternoon free time at the hotel and proceed back to the rim of the park for an additional sunset shoot.
DAY 9
We will drive down to Zion National park. Here we will tour the park and some of its landscape formations. Zion presents an alternative visual experience again to what we have experienced so far on the trip. There are several locations in this park to photograph, including the 2000 feet straight rock walls rising right up above the very narrow Virgin River.
DAY 10
We will spend the morning in Zion then drive back to Las Vegas arriving mid/late afternoon.
Ross will review your work along our trip when we have down time. Most of our driving will be mid-day when the light is flat & you can catch a nap. End of our tour is upon arrival in Las Vegas. You can choose to fly back home this evening or book an additional night in Las Vegas. If you would like to extend your trip by visiting other places we would be happy to make recommendations.
