Indigenous Awards
Chapoton Hall Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student of Indigenous descent who demonstrates leadership and involvement in helping or advancing an Indigenous initiative or a project in their community. An application is required. (Fall)
Indigenous Community and Creativity Award is awarded to a student who self-identifies as First Nations, Métis or Inuit, and demonstrates a connection to creative practice or connection to community-based learnings and teachings centered around their own experiences. No minimum CGPA is required. (Spring, Summer, or Fall)
Mandell Pinder LLP/J. Dwyer Indigenous Education Scholarship is awarded to an Indigenous student enrolled in a full-time Regular Studies program, who demonstrates high academic excellence and has a minimum CGPA of 3.0. (Spring, Summer, or Fall)
Native Northwest Reconciliation Award for Musqueam Students is awarded to students who are enrolled in either the early childhood education program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or the Division of Fine Arts programs, are able to demonstrate financial need, and identify as Indigenous. (Spring, Summer, or Fall)
ONNI Gives Award is awarded to a student with Indigenous ancestry that is enrolled part-time or full-time in a Regular or Continuing Studies program. Preference will be given to a student who is interested in studying or pursuing a career related to development, construction, architecture, urban design and planning, or other studies that contribute to city or community building. Students are only eligible to receive this award once. No previous registration required. (Spring, Summer, or Fall)
