Credit Union of British Columbia Bursary The Credit Union Foundation of British Columbia annually donates bursary money for students at Langara. Applicants must be needy Canadian citizens who are BC residents, and are enrolled in a minimum of nine credits.
Donald B. and Dorothy Allen Memorial Bursary is awarded in all terms to students who demonstrate financial need and academic potential.
Dr. Lane Trotter Bursary Fund is awarded to a full-time or part-time student, registered in either Continuing or Regular Studies and who can demonstrate financial need. (Spring, summer, or fall)
Hestrin, Huddart, Julien, and Matthews Endowed Fund provides financial assistance to regular studies students who demonstrate financial need.
Horizon Landscape Bursary is awarded to students who are enrolled full-time in Regular or Continuing Studies who demonstrates financial need.
Johnston, Ross, & Cheng Ltd. Bursary may be awarded in any term to Langara students demonstrating financial need.
Langara Administrator’s Association Domestic Bursary is awarded to a student who is enrolled part-time or full-time in a Regular Studies or Continuing Studies program and demonstrates financial need. (Spring, summer, or fall)
Langara Board Designated and Endowed Bursaries provide financial assistance to regular studies students who demonstrate financial need.
Langara Bursary Bag is awarded to a first year student enrolled in full-time classes who also works 40 hours or more per month at a part-time job. The recipient must demonstrate financial need.
Langara Faculty Association Bursary is awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need and achievement congruent with existing Bursary Policy rules.
Langara President’s Trust Bursary is available to students in any program who demonstrate financial need.
Langara Recycling Bursary is awarded to Langara students in financial need.
Langara Student Aid Bursary provides assistance for students demonstrating financial need.
Langara Student Assistance Bursaries are for students demonstrating financial need.
Langara Students' Union Community Service Award is for students in financial need. Preference is given to those students with a commitment to community service, as demonstrated by letters from community organizations where the applicant volunteered.
Langara Students' Union General Students' Bursary is awarded to students with demonstrated financial needs.
Langara Students' Union AND BC Ministry of Advanced Education Emergency Aid Fund is offered to students in demonstrated financial need and enrolled in a minimum of two courses for which LSU fees are assessed and collected.
Mark Adams Memorial Bursary is awarded to a student who is enrolled part-time or full-time in a Regular Studies or Continuing Studies program and demonstrates financial need. (Spring, summer, or fall)
Murray, Smith Bursary is awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need.
R&A Koerner Foundation Community Diversity Bursary is awarded to a student who is enrolled as a full-time or part-time student, in either Regular Studies or Continuing Studies. The student must be 25 or under at the time of applying, be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and be able to demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to a BIPOC student.
Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver Bursary provides financial assistance to students enrolled in any program. Recipients must demonstrate financial need.
Real Estate Industry Bursary is awarded to Langara students demonstrating financial need.
Ron Wells Memorial Bursary is awarded to Langara students who demonstrate financial need.
S.O.S Bursary is awarded to full-time or part-time domestic students registered in a Regular Studies or Continuing Studies Program. The recipient must demonstrate financial need.
S.O.S. Emergency Bursary is directed at students who demonstrate that their difficult financial situation could not have been predicted, and that it has created a "state of emergency" for them.
S.O.S. Endowed Bursary is awarded to students demonstrating financial need. Students must complete application at the Financial Aid Office.
S.O.S. Entrance Bursary is directed at providing financial assistance to students entering Langara College from Vancouver post-secondary schools and to mature students entering Langara College from any geographical region. Awarded to prospective students with the greatest demonstrated financial need, and enrolled in minimum nine credits, awarded September or January/May for mature students.
Vancity Credit Union Emergency Bursary is awarded to Langara students who demonstrate financial need.
Vancouver Foundation Bursaries provide bursary funds on an annual basis to Langara students in financial need.
Vendmaster Bursary is awarded to a Langara student who is registered in at least nine credits and demonstrates financial need.
Financial Need (Second Year)
Hestrin, Huddart, Julien, and Matthews Emergency Bursary provides financial assistance to regular studies students who demonstrate financial need and are registered in their second term and onwards.
Langara Faculty Memorial Bursary is awarded to students in financial need who have demonstrated scholastic ability, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their previous term.
Matilda Thien Memorial Bursary is for students enrolled at Langara in any course of study. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of nine credit hours. Preference may be given to a working parent and/or those pursuing a business-related program.
Valerie Nielsen Dunsterville Bursary is awarded to students enrolled in at least nine credits in any program. They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00, and demonstrate financial need. (Spring)
Xerox Canada Bursary provides bursary funding for students in their second or subsequent semester who demonstrate financial need. (Spring/Fall)
