Fees
All fees are subject to change. Check the Fees page for up-to-date information. Remember to check your student account balance after you register for courses. You are responsible for all courses in which you register and do not drop by the published deadlines. See the Important Dates page for dates and deadlines.
Fee payment deadline for courses registered on or before Monday, December 16, 2024: Monday, December 16, 2024.
Failure to pay fees by this date and time will result in being dropped from all registered courses on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Some exceptions apply (see below). Please review the Registration Fee Payment and Refund Policy for more information.
Students who meet the following criteria will not be dropped:
- Students who have an approved student loan on file with the Financial Aid Office. The words 'Student Loan Deferral' will appear if your loan has been approved. Please see the Fee Deferral page for details.
- Students who have applied for part-time funding will see the words 'Sponsor Fund Approved - CSG' by their balance.
- Students who have provided documentation that their fees will be covered by third-party sponsors (e.g., HRDC, Vocational Rehab Services, First Nations' Band sponsors).The words "The student currently has: Sponsored Funding" will appear if documentation has been received and processed.
- Students who have a balance owing of equal to or less than $349.99.
Fee payment deadline for courses registered on or after Friday, December 20, 2024: Immediately after you register into courses.
Fees for courses registered on or after this date are due immediately. You will not be dropped from your courses for non-payment of fees but will remain liable for any outstanding balance. Any outstanding balances on or after Tuesday, January 14, 2025 will be subject to compounding interest and late payment charges. Late payment service charges ($10) and 1.8% interest will be added as of this date and thereafter the same will be applied monthly on the ninth day of each subsequent month until the fees are paid in full.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are charged on a per credit basis. For more information about tuition and other fees, please visit either Domestic Student Fees or International Student Fees as appropriate.
U-Pass BC
The U-Pass BC fee is mandatory and applies to all Langara Students' Union members that meet eligibility criteria. Exemptions for the program will only be given to students who meet specific criteria. For more information on exemptions, terms of use, and more, visit the U-Pass BC website.
