Approach to Care Management - Surgery

Surgery and post-surgical scarring are commonplace for todays populations. Through lectures and video presentations you develop an understanding of the most common surgical procedures, so that you can implement treatment protocols for working with post-surgical clients. At the end of this class you will be able to describe common surgical practices and explain treatment and home care recommendations for clients who are recovering from surgery.Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
