Description
These therapies consist of several modalities that are often used during rehabilitation. You will be introduced to several modalities such as ultrasound, laser therapy, and acupuncture, etc. You will discuss the general concept of the science behind how these therapies work and explore their role in health care. At the end of this course you will be able to explain the general physiologic principles of these modalities and discuss how they can complement manual therapy.Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
