Description
Caring for one-self is an important part of personal growth and longevity in a health care profession. Beginning with self-inquiry and reflections on self-care strategies RMT students will be introduced to and will practice Progressive Muscular Relaxation (PMR). By the end of this course you will begin to understand the relationship between muscular tension and stress, and you will have introductory skills to manage stress related muscular tension.Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to the Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy.
