Vex Robotics Summer Camp

Some predict that robots will be smarter than humans by 2045. Others say it will take hundreds of years. What we do know for sure is that robots are increasingly becoming a part of our daily lives. Join us for a two-week journey into the exciting world of robotics! Working individually and as part of a team, you will build your own custom robot using the LEGO Mindstorms kits. Have your robot solve challenges, make them navigate through obstacle courses even compete against fellow campers for bragging rights over having the best bot. We will study how technology is allowing us to create more intelligent robots than ever before! We will also explore open source plans that allow you to build your own humanoid robot out of components s that you can printed on a 3D printer.Campers should have knowledge of, and be comfortable with, basic coding.
