Trauma and Expressive Arts Therapy

This course delineates how Expressive Arts Therapy can be used to work with clients suffering from trauma. The first part of the course focuses on defining trauma and the antecedents and conditions for its occurrence. The second half describes how Expressive Arts Therapy can be used to recognize and process traumatic material and provide the necessary conditions for healing. [16hrs]
