Scholarships and Bursaries
Scholarships, awards, and bursaries are available for the general student population and there are some specifically for students in the Nutrition and Food Service Management Program.
A scholarship and/or an award is a gift of money based on performance. Each scholarship will have different criteria to be achieved. There are some scholarships which do not require application. However, awards can also be determined by a student submission - or a combination of grades and submissions. Students will be notified of applicable awards through program email or course notifications.
Bursaries are also gifts of money that are based on need. Again, students can access funds through general student bursaries, or ones specifically for students in the Nutrition and Food Service Management Program. The deadline for the application of bursaries is usually the third week of the term, and payment is made approximately in Week 10. All students who are experiencing financial need should apply for a bursary, and be in communication with the Financial Aid office (phone 604.323.5376).
For a complete list of all the scholarships and bursaries, please see the Financial Aid website. For the list of Nutrition and Food Service Management specific scholarships and bursaries, please click on each of the links.
