Joanne Horwood
I have a BA Honours, MA and PhD in English. My interests include drama and theatre history, as well as world literatures. In addition to teaching a variety of first- and second-year courses at Langara, often with a theme such as"Out of Africa," I have coordinated and taught five Theatre History Field Schools in New York City, as well as one in London. I can't think of a better way of learning about Caribbean novels, poetry and drama than to study them in the landscapes that inspired them. Contact Joanne to discuss the Field School.

Katrina Erdos
I have a BA Honours in Urban and Regional Studies, and a MES in Environmental Studies. Since first starting to teach at Langara College in 1991, I have taught eight different first- and second-year courses in both the departments of Geography and Environmental Studies. The Caribbean Field School will be an amazing immersive educational opportunity, which will enable students to have a deep and meaningful learning experience. Contact Katrina to discuss the Field School.
