Many professional photographers choose to run their own independent business, so having an understanding of business principles and tools is essential. Building on mathematical principles, students explore the basics of payroll, merchandising, percent change, compound interest, annuity, mortgages, and loans. They also learn how to use spreadsheets to prepare tables and formulas for photo imaging work.

Note: Successful completion of a math course at the Grade 10 level is strongly recommended.
