Course Description

Many professional photographers choose to run their own independent business, so having an understanding of business principles and tools is essential. Building on mathematical principles, students explore the basics of payroll, merchandising, percent change, compound interest, annuity, mortgages, and loans. They also learn how to use spreadsheets to prepare tables and formulas for photo imaging work.

Prerequisite(s): MDT 60 or permission of the department. Prerequisites are valid for only three years.

Note: Recent successful completion of Math 10 is strongly recommended.
