Course Description

With an emphasis on problem-solving, students explore genetics including mitosis and meiosis; Mendelian genetics; modified Mendelian ratios; sex-linkage; linked genes and chromosome mapping; variations in chromosome number; quantitative and population genetics.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum "C" grade in both BIOL 1115 and 1215; or permission of the instructor.
