On June 12, Filipinos around the globe gather to mark the Philippines’ 1898 declaration of independence from Spain’s colonial rule. This day is also celebrated as an important reminder of the strength and resilience of the Filipino people.

We also invite Langara students, staff and faculty to post their messages of hope and wishes on the Wall of Wishes during the event, in response to the recent tragic events at the Lapu Lapu Day Festival.
