D2L has reported that the initial service disruption in Brightspace has been resolved, but the system is returning to normal levels very slowly. You may still experience very slow load times, but most pages are loading correctly. Thanks for your patience.


You may be experiencing slow loads of Brightspace this morning. We’ve been notified by D2L, the company that administers Brightspace, that this is due to a server issue. They are currently working on the problem; please do not submit an IT Help ticket for this issue.

If you were in the middle of taking a quiz, uploading an assignment, etc., follow up with your instructor, once service is restored, and let them know you encountered a problem.
