Security Patching/Infrastructure Maintenance

Sunday, February 16, 2020 (8am to 8pm) and
Monday, February 17, 2020 (8am to 8pm) - Family Day
Type:
IT maintenance/outage window
Description:
- Sunday - Apply security patches to all servers, including backend servers supporting Banner services
- Monday - Network maintenance
Customer Impact:
Most services will remain available during the maintenance but may experience brief outages of 15 minutes up to 2 hours on both days.
Examples include:
- Network drives for students and employees
- myFiles
- Printing
- Computer labs
- Enhanced classrooms
- Office computers using Citrix
The following services will not be impacted:
- Workday
- Office 365
- College website (www.langara.ca)
- Brightspace by D2L
- LinkedIn Learning
- U-Pass
