AV Integration
Our in-house team supports over 200 AV equipped spaces across the College, including classrooms, computer labs, lecture theatres, meeting rooms, offices, Nursing Simulation labs, and the campus-wide digital signage network. We understand the evolving technological needs unique to the academic and business environment of the College. We can help our clients every step along the way, from design to commissioning and through the entire equipment life cycle.
We are qualified to handle all kinds of AV requests on campus. If you are looking to renovate a space or have an exciting project proposal in mind, please don't hesitate to drop us a line here.

The majority of classrooms on campus are equipped with the following presentation technology:
- Lectern computer
- Connection(s) for laptops and mobile devices (e.g. VGA, HDMI)
- Document camera
- Optical disc player
- Digital projector
- Loudspeakers
We are working to update the Technology on Campus page. If you have any questions about technology in specific rooms in the meantime, please get in touch with us.
AV Evergreen
The digitization of Langara's AV infrastructure started in earnest in 2016 with the opening of the Science and Technology Building. As of May 2019, we have achieved digitization of over 60% of the AV infrastructure - systems have been upgraded to be HD compatible and networked with smarter control backend. What this means for our users is that over 60% of the rooms now have greater compatibility with portable devices, better equipment to facilitate course delivery, and improved user experience of integrated audio and video technology. Please keep an eye out for AV updates and announcements on the Langara Post as we continue with our annual evergreen cycle.
