This micro-credential equips students with the essential knowledge and skills for successful team leadership and management. It covers effective communication, diverse leadership styles, conflict resolution, and building positive working relationships. Students also learn techniques for developing high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and motivating team members to excel.

Are you currently a supervisor or wanting to become one? Enhance your communication skills along with your ability to lead and motivate employees. Explore ways to deal more effectively with difficult people and situations. Through this weekend seminar program's combination of discussion, group work, case studies, and role plays you will develop the practical skills needed to realize your full potential as a manager, supervisor or front-line leader.

The central focus of the management and leadership skills micro-credential course delivery is student learning. In the online offering, asynchronous course delivery is to maximize flexibility for the learner and help address individual learning needs and styles. Courses are delivered online via Brightspace self-paced over a period of four weeks with weekly learning activities. Students will be able to access the entire course on the mentioned course start date; learners don't need to be online on that specific date or any specific date or time during the course. Students can do the course at their own pace between the course start and end date. The instructor will be available on Brightspace and email to support any student.
